March 2012 month-end review
A quarter of year 2012 had passed! As in the past 2 months, I’m going to do a quick review on my progress and see how I’m doing with my goals for 2012.
March had been a very distractive month for me. I was sidetracked by some expected and unexpected events, e.g. sickness and friends’ visit. Therefore, I wasn’t able to stick to my plan very well.
Goal: Read 2 books a month
I failed to achieve this goal in March. I managed to finish half of Catching Fire, the second book in the Hunger Games series only. Sigh! I’ll make up for this in April so my reading goal for April is to read 4 books.
Goal: Work out 3 times a week
I was able to work out 3 times a week for 3 out of the 4 weeks. I was able to work out once only in the second week of March because some friends came to visit so I was out most of the weekend.
Goal: Have 30 minutes of spiritual/religious time daily
This is going quite well. Despite all the craziness in March, I only missed 3 or 4 days.
Goal: Start journaling again
I missed a few days of journaling in March. However, I noticed that I was writing longer entries in my journal. I also started to carry my Peanuts Moleskine with me more often so that I could write whenever I have time.
Goal: Update this blog once a week
This was a success. I updated this blog at least once a week in March. Now that I’m coaching my friend on how to set up her own website, I’ll be posting a weekly update here as well.
Goal: Get 2 of my niche websites to the first page of Google in 2012
As a practice, I created a new niche website in March. It’s still too early to tell if I had picked a good niche or not. I’m publishing 2 posts a week on this new site. Hopefully it’ll start to get more traffic soon.
Now over to you! How are you doing with your goals?
